Exhaust for SL350

Post by madrus »

I'm after an exhaust. A 2 into 1 system possibly, even header pipes which I could build the rest.

I reckon that'll be a big ask :D
Pipes of any sort for these things are hard ta find!
Probably easier to make or get one made?
I managed to pick up a nice set of standard K0 pipes a while back, but apparently they don't fit the K1/2 models :-?

Yes that's correct, I met a bloke a swap-meet a couple of weeks back who said he had an old 2 into 1 hooker system in his stockpile. Just waiting for the photos.
K0 had electric start didn't they? Would be why different headers.
Anyway, no trouble putting it out there, stranger things have been known to turn up

From what I'm told the frames are very different...one has the lower frame rails under the engine at different heights...apparently the mufflers from the K0 can be used but headers are different bends?
Picked this pic up ages ago of a bike with the Hooker side pipe
The side pipe is a real collectors item for both the 350 and 450 bikes, if the guy has one of these you'll be a legend :D
