Not sure if I'll ever try sorting this one.
Only 1153 ever made worldwide apparently and most of the engine is made of special parts manufactured from unobtainium :-?
And of course someone has stored it in an open "shed" for years with one spark plug out of it :banghead:

Oh well, guess I'll never know if I don't give it a try. :-?
So I'll tear it down and have a good look at what I have.
Best case scenario it's saveable, worst case, there's plenty of rare parts to sell

Rear subframe is bent, and engine seized to some extent.

Plan is to pull the engine, and have the frame repaired while engine is (hopefully) rebuilt. :-?
Have a guy here that can fix the frame, so on with the show :D
Drain the engine oil first!
Hmmmm, very little, very black and very thick.
Good start

Took about 1½ hours to remove the fuel pump, air box and associated junk to get to this point.
Turbo is frozen

Manifold bolts on turbocharger are all rusted in and bloody hard to reach.....the one you have to access through a tunnel in the pipe is a bastard :banghead: 90mm long Allen key just bends and flexes.
The hex heads snap off
Good idea taking this on
