Not a dirt squirt ! Jeeesh !

At least you could have got a Wombat.

Kept it a little more Oz flavoured.

Then again, how did the yanks at the time know what a wombat was anyway.

P.S. Has SHMBO seen them in the shed yet? Or has it been more like " Move along dear, nothing to see here ".
Anything I say , may or may not have any truth or relevance , this is the internet after all.

Yes! A Dirt Squirt :D
And yes! SWMBO came along for the ride. :D

Not sure why this has arrived in the shed really....I guess 'cos it was there to be had.
I have been rather surprised at the amount of people who have never even heard of this great marque......damn heathens all of 'em

So,
On with the show this is iiittt................... as a great rabbit and equally great duck used to sing.

This is ground zero then:
Two rather well used motorcycles,

Along with quite a few bibs 'n bobs

Both exhausts are in excellent shape other than the number 2 pipe which seems to have had a performance modification :hmmm:

Both bikes have Compliance plates which surprised me a bit

Seems doable

I think this little project might be relatively simple...which fits with me to a tee
Biggest challenges I'd think are the tank, which is (was  ) chromed steel along with fork lowers which are (were  ) also chromed steel

Apparently we had a Hodaka dealer in Tassie way back then!

Comes with lights! And has a Compliance plate, so hopefully the little beast can be registered.

No idea if they had indicators.

Hmmmm, actually not a Compliance plate just a factory Hodaka plate that they all have.
Have to try and find out if they are able to be registered. Won't be much use otherwise?
