Bit like watching grass grow.....
but finally things are heading in the right direction
Just waiting for the barrel to come back nicely rebored and then stick the top back on.
Have made the necessary bracketry now for the battery box and rear brake switch, which should get welded on tomorrow all things being equal.

Wow! That tank is such a great job... New badges I Hope!
Are the tank badges decals or fancy metal badges

Badges are a plastic affair, just glued on. Not sure if I'll reuse the originals or get a repro set?
Some of the Red came off while cutting them free of the tank :-?

Back to it.
Better try and get this finished before 2017 is done :-?
I've had most parts sitting around waiting for me start...just too many other projects now.
Slowly collecting bits for '65 & '68 450's, but the 400/4 and SL 350 are languishing.

So I've laced up the rear rim, now for the front and true 'em up :D
Rechrome of rims didn't turn out too bad...these are the original date coded Takasago rims, and were probably past it, but in order to save the stampings they had to leave some pitting.
