Been around to look at the tank this morning. Spots looked too pronounced in this pic he sent, but better in real life.
Still, we've talked about it and he's going to smudge them in some more.
Looking at pics from the DVD there are big differences in fairing and tank paint..fairing has these type pronounced spots whereas the tank is very blurred in.
Very happy with his take on the "Toad Belly Orange" fade though :dance:
It's a pain as there is bugger all info on the original bike around

is the original painter of stone bikes know? or he no longer with us?

Yeah, still kicking I believe?
Owns a custom shop on Sydney's northern beaches.
I toyed with the idea of asking about getting it done, but postage etc. would make it crazy expensive methinks?

A little bit more achieved :D
Paintwork finished and I've made up a Gravediggers logo which has been etched onto the chain oil pump cover.
Waiting on a bunch of small parts to arrive now.
